Yufan Du and Zizheng Guo have won the first place in the 2024 ICCAD CAD contest, advised by Prof. Yibo Lin, for their outstanding work on Problem C: Scalable Logic Gate Sizing Using ML Techniques and GPU Acceleration.

Zizheng Guo and Jing Mai have won the first place in the 2024 CADathlon contest at ICCAD, advised by Prof. Yibo Lin. The CADathlon is a challenging, all-day programming competition focusing on practical problems at the forefront of Computer-Aided Design and Electronic Design Automation in particular.

Zizheng Guo and Yuxiang Zhao have won the Champion (first place) of the 2022 Edathon programming contest, advised by Prof. Yibo Lin. EDAthon is a whole-day programming contest that features interesting and challenging topics in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), held by IEEE CEDA Hong Kong Chapter and sponsored by Cadence.

Zizheng has won the first place in the 2022 ACM Student Research Competition (SRC). This is one of the highest recognitions of undergraduate research accomplishment in the EECS community. The official news is here: https://src.

Zizheng presented his research work at the 2021 ACM/SIGDA Student Research Competition held in conjunction with the ICCAD conference on November 2nd, 2021. He is awarded the gold medal (first place) in the undergraduate category and will represent SIGDA in the following ACM SRC Grand Finals contest.

Our work “GPU-Accelerated Static Timing Analysis” is accepted by ICCAD'20. Zizheng is going to give a talk at session 11B on November 5th, 2020. We will share our algorithms for accelerating graph-based STA using GPU-friendly algorithms on top of OpenTimer.
